Naplavka on the Rasin embankment is Prague's signature Saturday market. About 100 stalls run alongside the Vltava from February to December.

Tip: Bring cash and a tote; the queue at the bread stalls peaks at 10:00.
Holesovice Market is Prague's largest year-round market, inside an old slaughterhouse complex on the Vltava bend. Open mon-fri 07:30-17:00, sat 07:30-14:00.

Tip: The Doubleshot espresso bar is in Hall 8; eat there before shopping.
Sapa, on Prague's southern edge, is the largest Vietnamese market outside Vietnam. A warehouse complex with around 200 vendors, plus the city's best banh mi.

Tip: Take metro B to Smichov, then bus 198 to Libus; eat at Pho Tung first.
Manifesto Market Andel is the Smichov open-air food yard, successor to the Florenc pop-up. Fifteen food stalls, beer bar, SOOT cocktail room, cashless.

Tip: The natural wine bar at the back is the smartest pour; weekends are loud.
Kasarna Karlin is a former military barracks turned all-day food and drinks courtyard, reopened in 2025 after a zoning standoff. At Prvniho pluku 20/2.

Tip: Bring layers; the kitchen wraps when it rains.
The Old Town Square Christmas market is Prague's signature winter market, around 90 stalls from late November to early January. Located in Stare Mesto.
Go for: Mulled wine, Trdelnik, Christmas snacks
Tip: Avoid eating the trdelnik; drink the mulled wine and queue for the smoked klobasa.
The Vinohrady Christmas market on Namesti Miru is Prague's most local-feeling Advent stop, in front of the neo-Gothic church. Booking recommended.
Go for: Local crafts, Mulled wine, Christmas cookies
Tip: Open about a week earlier than the Old Town markets; closes 24 December.
