This privacy policy says what TableJourney collects when you use this site and our apps, why, and who else is involved. TableJourney is published by Rowie LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. Questions and requests go to [email protected].
What we collect
- Server logs. Our servers and our network provider, Cloudflare, record standard request details: IP address, browser user-agent, the page requested and the time. We use them for security, debugging and traffic counts.
- Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages and booking links are used. It sets cookies and sends Google your page views, approximate location (from your IP address), device and browser type, and the events we record: outbound clicks on booking links and searches made on the site.
- Microsoft Clarity. We use Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are used. It records how visitors move through a page (scrolling, clicks, mouse movement) as session replays and heatmaps, and sets cookies. Text you type into forms is masked in those recordings.
- Site search and our API. Searches made on the site, and requests to our public API, are logged with the query and the time so we can improve results and keep the service running.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe we store your email address, the date and time, and the IP address and browser user-agent used to sign up, as our record of your consent. Emails are sent through Resend, our email provider. Every issue has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops the emails at once.
- Email you send us. If you email us we keep the message so we can reply and follow up.
Saved in your own browser
Your light or dark theme choice, the places you save as favourites and any checklist items you tick are stored in your browser only. They are never sent to us, and clearing your browser's site data removes them.
Booking links
Many links to booking sites (for example GetYourGuide, Viator, Booking.com and Hotels.com) are affiliate links: they carry a code that tells the partner you came from TableJourney, and we may earn a commission if you book. Once you are on a partner's site, that site sets its own cookies and its own privacy policy applies. Partners report bookings to us without your name, contact details or payment details.
Apps and integrations
TableJourney uses the Pinterest API to publish Pins to its own Pinterest account (pinterest.com/tablejourney): images we make from our own photos, linking to pages on this site. The integration reads only TableJourney's own boards, to choose where to pin, and writes only to TableJourney's own account. It does not collect, store or share any data about other Pinterest users. We post to our own accounts on other social networks in the same way. When you use Pinterest or another network, that network's privacy policy applies.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not show advertising or use advertising networks.
- We do not require sign-up to read anything.
Who processes data for us
Cloudflare (network and security), Google (Analytics), Microsoft (Clarity) and Resend (newsletter email). Each acts under its own terms and may process data in the United States.
Your choices and rights
You can block or clear cookies in your browser and the site will still work; the cookies page lists each one. You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, and ask us to correct or delete it: email [email protected] and we will answer within 30 days.
Updates
If this policy changes materially we will update it and change the "Last updated" date at the top.
