Day 1: Saturday: cafe morning, parrilla afternoon, cocktail night

- Breakfast at La Biela on Quintana opposite Recoleta Cemetery, 09:30. Cafe with three medialunas at the terrace under the rubber tree.
- Afternoon
- Walk to El Preferido de Palermo for a long lunch, 13:30. Tortilla, vitel tone, milanesa; bottle of Malbec from the wine list. Then a wander around Palermo Soho boutiques.
- Evening
- Dinner at Don Julio, 21:30 (book six weeks ahead, or join the standby line from 18:00). Bife de chorizo, provoleta, empanadas. Cocktails afterwards at Tres Monos round the corner on Guatemala.

Day 2: Sunday: bakery morning, San Telmo afternoon, late pizza
- Morning
- Salvaje Bakery at 09:00 for sourdough toast and a flat white. Then the Sunday San Telmo fair: walk Defensa from Plaza Dorrego to Plaza de Mayo.
- Afternoon
- Lunch at Mercado de San Telmo (parrilla counter inside the market) around 14:00. Then mate-and-helado at Las Violetas in Almagro, 17:00.
- Evening
- Pizza al molde at El Cuartito, 22:00. Stand at the counter with a cuarta de muzza and a tin of moscato. Nightcap at Floreria Atlantico in Retiro: take a taxi.

Palermo Soho and Hollywood across three days: tasting menus at Trescha and Tegui, Asian-Argentine parrilla at Nino Gordo, vegetable-forward cooking at Anafe, the new-wave kitchens defining the city now.

- Lunch at Pain et Vin on Gorriti, 13:30. Sourdough sandwiches, charcuterie, a glass of Patagonian Pinot Noir.
- Evening
- Dinner at Anafe, 21:00 (book a week ahead). Terrace seating over the Dorrego flea market, wood-oven plates. Walk to LAB Tostadores' LAttente for a nightcap espresso.

Day 2: Day 2: cafe-bodegon lunch, Nino Gordo dinner, cocktail crawl

- El Preferido (cafe corner) at 11:30 for vermouth at the marble bar, then a wander along Honduras for shopping.
- Afternoon
- Lunch at Gran Dabbang, 14:00 (cash, no reservations). Lentil pancakes, spiced lamb, crunchy salads.
- Evening
- Dinner at Nino Gordo, 21:30. Wagyu katsu sando, Korean short rib, sake pairing. Cocktails at Frank's speakeasy (Arevalo 1443) after; phone-booth entrance.

Day 3: Day 3: brunch, Trescha or Tegui tasting menu
- Morning
- Brunch at Ninina Bakery, 10:00. Sourdough avocado toast, flat white, French-Argentine pastries.
- Afternoon
- Wine tasting at Lo de Joaquin Alberdi, 15:00. Six Argentine boutique wines, sommelier-led.
- Evening
- Tasting menu at Trescha (book three months ahead) or Tegui. Trescha is 15 courses for 11 guests at a single counter; Tegui is six courses, room-style. Either way it's the city's top end.
