Štorije Dioklecijana, the Split tourist board's late August Roman revival inside Diocletian's Palace, opens with the Pompa Imperialis procession and fills the Peristil with imperial audiences and the Harpastum ball game.
Tip: Entry is free; the Emperor's Tour and the evening walk with Empress Prisca are capped at 20 people and need a free sign-up at the Peristil information centre.
