An Old Fashioned built on Chattanooga's own whiskey style, the malt-heavy Tennessee High Malt distilled on Market Street, stirred with sugar and bitters and finished with orange.

Chattanooga Whiskey, founded in 2011 under the banner of bringing whiskey back to the people, opened the city's first legal distillery in more than a century and coined Tennessee High Malt, a house style built on mash bills heavy with specialty malts. The style's toasted, chocolatey depth made the Old Fashioned its natural showcase, and the drink is now the house serve across the Southside's bars, from the distillery's own counter to hotel rooftops.
