Eid al-Fitr runs 9 March to 11 March 2027. Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, with a morning prayer followed by family visits, gifts and a festive meal. After a month of fasting it is a day of sweets, and in many places the Eid table is built around rice, stews and sweet vermicelli.
