Taipei's tourism bureau stages fireworks and drone shows over Dadaocheng Wharf for three weeks each summer, with concerts at Yongle Plaza and more than 90 Dihua Street shops and eateries running festival offers.

Tip: Fireworks nights are the opening Saturday, one midweek evening and the Qixi finale; eat on Dihua Street before 19:00, then walk to the wharf for the 20:00 show.
