Shaved ice is called baobing in Taiwan, and its snowflake variation, xuehua bing, is made from milk instead of water. Irwin mangoes are in season from about May to August. Smoothie House says on its own site that it is the founding Yongkang Street mango snowflake ice shop and an internationally known mango snowflake ice brand, using purified water ice blocks and seasonal Taiwanese fruit.
