On the Friday of the Ascension weekend Vaucluse growers set up a wine village on Place du Palais in Avignon, pouring from 16:00 to 01:00 with music.

Avignon's free harvest-opening party on Place du Palais des Papes: brotherhoods parade at 5pm, a gourmet market of about 15 stands opens at 6:30pm, the ban is proclaimed at 7pm and a bal runs to midnight.
