The Saturday farmers market on Noordplein runs Christmas editions in December, with 35 to 45 growers, bakers, butchers and chefs selling direct, plus fire pits and roasted chestnuts.

The Napa Truffle Festival is the only US wine-country truffle event: four days of fresh Perigord and Bianchetto truffle-focused dinners, a public truffle market at the CIA at Copia, educational foraging walks and a gala dinner at a Napa Valley leading restaurant. Founded in 2012.
TipThe gala dinner sells out first. Book the gala or a participating restaurant dinner early; the truffle market is walk-in on the Saturday morning.

Festa des Vermar has marked the Binissalem grape harvest since 1965, half an hour from Palma, running most of September with a grape battle, treading contests, fideus de vermar and the Fira del Vi pouring DO Binissalem wines.

The Kishiwada Danjiri Matsuri, held for over 300 years, sends wooden danjiri floats racing through Kishiwada's streets; the September festival is 19 to 20 September 2026, with another in October.
A cart stacked with about 1,500 straw-covered flasks of Chianti Rufina is pulled into piazza Duomo by Chianina oxen, blessed, then offered to the city, a wine harvest rite the Florentine Republic kept for centuries.
TipThe cart reaches the Duomo around 14:30. Follow it toward Piazza della Signoria for the flag throwers.
