207 Beer Week, run by the Maine Brewers' Guild, is a nine-day statewide celebration of Maine craft beer each November, with events at breweries from Kittery to Fort Kent, Portland among them.

Maine Lobster Festival in Rockland, 75 minutes northeast of Portland, runs Wednesday to Sunday over the first full weekend of August, five days at Harbor Park.

Harvest on the Harbor is Portland's Maine food festival, held 15 to 17 October 2026 at Maine Studio Works, with the Maine Lobster Chef of the Year contest and Maine OysterFest sessions.

Maine Veg Fest is the Maine Animal Coalition's free plant-based food day, now in its 21st year, at the East End Community School with thirteen vendors, three food trucks outside, samples and meals for sale indoors, speakers and live music at noon.
