Nizip presses some of the best olive oil in Türkiye, and its November olive festival, run by the district, turns the harvest into a public tasting week. The 2025 edition ran 11 to 16 November.
TipNizip is 45 minutes from Gaziantep and pairs naturally with the Zeugma ruins in the same day.
GastroAntep spreads roughly 400 events over nine September days and about 50 Gaziantep venues, with chef workshops, a taste street and free concerts across the city.
TipFestival Park holds the main programme, but the taste street and workshops move around the city.
Oğuzeli is the pomegranate district of Gaziantep province, and its festival opens with the pomegranate harvest, judges the year's best nar and kurutmalık growers, and fills the district stadium with concerts.
TipThe 2022 edition ran 8 to 9 October and the 2023 edition 6 to 8 October, so plan for the first week of the month and confirm with the district municipality.
