Crawford Market (officially Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Mandai) opened in 1869 as Mumbai's grand covered grocer; 400 stalls of produce, spice and dry-fruit.
Must order: Iranian zereshk berries, fresh spice mixes and a kilo of dry dates from the dry-fruit counters.
