Utopia Taproom on Mavili Square is one of Thessaloniki's first dedicated craft beer taprooms, opened in 2023 by the team behind the Utopia gypsy brewery from Serres. 13 wall-mounted taps run independent Greek microbreweries only; live music nights and free sample tastings round out the format.

Sknipa is Thessaloniki's standard-bearer microbrewery, brewing on a 17th-km industrial site in Thermi just east of the airport.
