A weekend built around the celebrity-chef rooms that made the Strip a dining destination, with one Chinatown detour for the city's actual food scene.

Day 1: Saturday: brunch at Sadelle's, Bouchon lunch, Bazaar Meat dinner, late slice
- Morning
- Brunch at Sadelle's Cafe at Bellagio from 10:00. Lox board for the table, sticky bun, walk the Conservatory before lunch.
- Afternoon
- Lunch at Bouchon at the Venetian, the 10th-floor patio overlooking the Venezia pool garden. Steak frites, half a bottle of Cotes du Rhone.
- Evening
- Dinner at Bazaar Meat by Jose Andres at the Venetian, 19:30. Suckling pig and the tomato bread. Cap the night with a slice at Secret Pizza at the Cosmopolitan after midnight.

Day 2: Sunday: Spring Mountain Chinatown, Lotus of Siam, Sparrow and Wolf finale
- Morning
- Banh mi at Lee's Sandwiches on Spring Mountain (3989), then a short drive east for a bowl of tonkotsu ramen at Monta Japanese Noodle House (5030).
- Afternoon
- Lunch at Lotus of Siam Flamingo for khao soi and crispy duck on drunken noodles. Walk the Crystals shops to recover.
- Evening
- Dinner at Sparrow and Wolf on Spring Mountain from 18:00 (Raku is closed Sundays). Brian Howard's cookery menu, then a nightcap at Velveteen Rabbit in the Arts District.
Vegas weekend: how locals eat off-Strip ★ 4.7
Two days routed through the Arts District, Spring Mountain Road and downtown Fremont East, with the celebrity-chef shelf left for another trip.

- Brunch at Esther's Kitchen from 10:00. Pasta Fritti and eggs with fennel sugo, Meyer lemon pancakes; book two weeks ahead. Walk South Main to Vesta Coffee Roasters after.
- Afternoon
- Lunch at Soulbelly BBQ for Bruce Kalman's salt-and-pepper brisket and chipotle-cider drumsticks. Drop by Able Baker Brewing for an Atomic Lager.
- Evening
- Dinner at Carson Kitchen on 6th Street, 19:30. Bacon jam with havarti on toasted baguette, devil's eggs, the bacon burger. Cocktails after at Velveteen Rabbit, then a slice at Pizza Rock.

Day 2: Sunday: Chinatown crawl, Sparrow + Wolf dinner
- Morning
- Tonkotsu ramen at Monta on Spring Mountain (Yelp waitlist before you arrive). Korean groceries and banchan at Greenland Supermarket in Korea Town Plaza after.
- Afternoon
- Lunch at Lotus of Siam Flamingo (the Sahara reopening runs dinner only on Sundays). Khao soi, crispy duck. Pho top-up at Pho Kim Long if still hungry.
- Evening
- Dinner at Sparrow and Wolf, 18:00. Chef Brian Howard's cookery menu. Last call at Atomic Liquors in Fremont East.
Vegas on a budget: $40 a day, no buffets ★ 4.4
Two days proving the city eats well off the all-you-can-eat circuit. The Strip stays cheap if you know the windows.

- Morning
- Breakfast at Earl of Sandwich at Planet Hollywood, $10 for the Original 1762. Walk the Bellagio Conservatory free.
- Afternoon
- Lunch at Capriotti's on West Sahara for the small Bobbie, $11 with cranberry, stuffing and turkey.
- Evening
- Dinner at Tacos El Gordo on the Strip. Four tacos and a Mexican Coke for $15 total, adobada and suadero sliced from the trompo.

Day 2: Sunday: Doña Maria tamales, Pho Kim Long, Secret Pizza nightcap
- Morning
- Breakfast at Doña Maria Tamales on South Las Vegas Boulevard. Three tamales with rice and beans for $12.
- Afternoon
- Late lunch at Pho Kim Long on Spring Mountain. Rare-and-brisket pho, $13 with chinese broccoli. Cross to Crown Bakery for a $4 red-bean bun dessert.
- Evening
- Dinner at Shake Shack at New York-New York, $14 ShackBurger combo. Two slices at Secret Pizza for $12 if still hungry, walk the Strip back free.
