    Fukuya Aji no Mentaiko Factory tour at 10:30. Same-day mentaiko on the renovated second floor, plus the retail counter.
    Afternoon
    Lunch at Hakata Gion Tetsunabe. Two pans of tetsunabe gyoza with a Kirin draught.
    Evening
    Tenjin yatai row from 19:00. Mamichan English-menu yakitori, then Chez Remy's French street cart.
  3. Day 3: Day 3: Dazaifu day trip, mizutaki dinner

    Morning
    Train from Tenjin to Dazaifu, arrive 10:00. Kasanoya umegae mochi on the pilgrimage road, then Dazaifu Tenmangu shrine.
    Afternoon
    Lunch at one of Dazaifu's noodle shops. Back to Fukuoka by 15:00 for a Manu Coffee Kujira afternoon.
    Evening
    Dinner at Toriden Hakata Honten. TENJIN mizutaki course at 6,600 yen, zosui rice porridge close.
