The outside is crispy from a high-heat bake; the inside is dense and chewy. Flavors rotate seasonally: ube, matcha, black sesame, strawberry, taro. National food press has covered the mochi muffin as a genuine American pastry innovation. Available at the 8th Street location from 08:30 Wednesday through Monday.
