St Lawrence Market on Front Street East has been Toronto's main food market since 1803, the South Building daily and the rebuilt North Building Saturday.

Tip: Closed Mondays. The rebuilt North Building reopened April 2025 and hosts the Saturday farmers' market from 05:00; busy by 09:00. South Building runs daily.

Kensington Market between Spadina and Bathurst is Toronto's reference open-air food district, vendor storefronts along Augusta, Baldwin and Kensington Avenue.

Go for: Cheese, Produce, Caribbean, Mexican

Tip: Pedestrian Sunday on the last Sunday of every month May-October closes the streets to cars.

Evergreen Brick Works on Bayview is a Saturday Ontario-producer farmers market since 2010 in a Don Valley brickworks heritage site, with 70 vendors.

Tip: Free shuttle from Broadview Station summer weekends. Indoor winter market Saturdays Nov-April runs 09:00-13:00.

Junction Farmers Market ★ 4.2

Junction Farmers Market behind the Junction Stockyards is a Saturday producer market June through October, the west-end alternative to Brickworks.

Go for: Local produce, Bakery, Ontario meats

Tip: Summer Saturday only. The Stockyards Village mall around the corner has parking; or walk in from the Stockyards subway.
