The Napa Truffle Festival is the only US wine-country truffle event: four days of fresh Perigord and Bianchetto truffle-focused dinners, a public truffle market at the CIA at Copia, educational foraging walks and a gala dinner at a Napa Valley leading restaurant. Founded in 2012.
Tip: The gala dinner sells out first. Book the gala or a participating restaurant dinner early; the truffle market is walk-in on the Saturday morning.
Festival Napa Valley is a performing arts and food celebration held across multiple Napa city and valley venues each July. The food component includes winemaker dinners at leading restaurants, vineyard picnics and a Gala in the Cave at several major Napa Valley estates. The culinary programme runs parallel to the arts events.
Tip: The Gala in the Cave (held inside a working barrel cave at a Napa Valley estate) is the most distinctive food-and-wine experience in the festival. Tickets sell out in March.
