An annual pairing event at the Durham Performing Arts Center that brings together 30+ Triangle restaurants with local and regional breweries for unlimited tastings across DPAC's three floors. Running since 2012, it is one of Durham's most anticipated food events, with VIP early access available and live music throughout.
Organised by All About Beer Magazine and running since the mid-1990s, the World Beer Festival at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park brings 75+ breweries and 200+ beers to the ballpark with separate NC Beer, Cider and Belgian gardens. The Friday pre-festival Seasonal Beer Showcase is worth attending separately.
Organised by Black Brew Culture and Proximity Brewing, Blacktoberfest has grown into one of the top-ten US beer festivals by USA Today's ranking. The three-day Old East Durham event features 20+ breweries, 6 Black-owned wine and spirits brands, 30+ food and retail vendors, and live music across a main Saturday event with Friday and Sunday extensions.
Four times a year Durham Central Park fills with 40+ food and drink trucks plus local brewery taps for the city's most casual food event. Free admission, family-friendly, dog-friendly, with a DJ, bounce houses and face painting. Rain or shine.
