Buiucani is an affluent residential sector west of Chisinau's Centru, better known for theatres and museums than dining strips. Its restaurants split between older Soviet-era rooms and newer family-run places, which makes eating here a quiet tour of the city's last few decades. Expect neighbourhood pace, not a scene.
