History

Veltlinske zelene is the Slovak Carpathian name for Gruner Veltliner, shared with Austrian wine tradition across the border. The grape has dominated Slovak white production since the Habsburg era and was codified as the regional white at Pezinok and Modra in the 1990s.

Ingredients

Method

  1. Pull a Slovak Veltlinske zelene from the Small Carpathian region.
  2. Chill to 10-12 degrees Celsius.
  3. Open the bottle right before serving.
